BARAMULLA, Aug 30: The Inter-School Under-14 and Under-17 Girls Kho Kho Tournament concluded at Showkat Ali Stadium, here today with great enthusiasm. Chief Guest, Tariq Ahmad Banday, Senior Lecturer (Computer Science) at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Baramulla, felicitated the winners and distributed prizes. In his address, Banday emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship in personal development.
The Overall Incharge, Mohammad Aarif Bhat, Lecturer in Physical Education, expressed gratitude to the chief guest, officials, players and ground staff for their support. In the competition, Zone Wagoora triumphed in the Under-17 category, while Zone Dangerpora won in the Under-14 category. Selected players from both age groups will now represent district Baramulla in the upcoming Inter-District Provincial Level Kho-Kho Competitions.
