REASI, Dec 8: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Reasi organized U-14 Inter District UT Level Boys Softball Tournament at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex, Katra, here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Dhruv Gupta, Assistant Chief Executive Officer SMVDSB Katra & Director Sports, while Tarsem Singh, District Officer YSS Reasi, welcomed the chief guest and all teams.
This edition saw 154 players from 11 districts competing. Quarterfinal results included Srinagar defeating Bandipora by 13-3, Kulgam beating Kupwara by 17-4, Pulwama outplaying Jammu by 10-6 and Budgam winning over Udhampur by 8-2. Srinagar, Kulgam, Pulwama and Budgam advanced to the semifinals.
Matches were officiated by Opinder Pal, Madan Mohan, Rakesh Kumar, Dheeraj Jamwal, Naina, and Mohit, ensuring fair play and smooth conduct throughout.
