JAMMU, Sept 30: State Level Inter District Competition in the discipline of Table Tennis for girls of all age groups got underway at Indoor Hall, M A Stadium , here today.
The Tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of annual calendar of sports activities, under the patronage of Jehangir Mir, Director General Youth Services and Sports and the chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu is the organising secretary.
In Table Tennis Under-14 girls, Kargil thrashed Budgam by 3-0. Nasreen Fatima defeated Shah Anida by 11-8, 11-9, Kaneez Fatima defeated Sabah Rashit by 11-6,11-6 and Shabana Batool drubbed Tabinda Fayaz by 14-12 and 1-6.
The matches were officiated by Anju Gupta, Rakesh Kakkar, Narinder Singh, Ravish Vaid, Mulk Raj Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Vishal Bharti, Amit Kalsi, Mahadev Singh and Rattan Lal.
