JAMMU, Dec 25: International Delhi Public School (IDPS) inaugurated its Indoor Sports Arena at Sunjwan.
On the occasion, Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh was the chief guest, who inaugurated the Arena in presence of KS Jamwal, President J&K Rifle Association, Atul Gupta, President, All J&K Chess Association and many other dignitaries.
Randeep Wazir, Academic Director IDPS presented the welcome address and said that the vision of IDPS is to pay attention to both the scholastic and co scholastic aspect.
Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh addressed the gathering and in his speech he clearly mentioned the importance of sports in our life and in overall personality development.
The Indoor Sports Arena will feature various sports including Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Badminton Court, Speedball, Board Games, Yoga, Aerobics and other cultural activities.
Members from IDPS Management Suminder Singh and Swaran Singh were also present on the occasion.
Later, the students who won medals in different games were also felicitated by the chief guest and others.
