SRINAGAR, Aug 6: Inter-Group Tournaments in the Islamia College of Science and Commerce was inaugurated by Dr K A Mahajan, the senior most faculty member of the college today at Indoor Sports Hall of the College, here.
The 1st match of the Table Tennis was played between ICS Whites and ICS Yellows, wherein Whites defeated Yellows by (3:1), while in the second match of the tournament ICS Oranges defeated ICS Blues by (3:2).
Now ICS whites will play against ICS Reds in first semi-final and in the second semi-final of the tournament ICS Greens will play against ICS Oranges tomorrow. For ICS Whites Abbas and Basit and for ICS Oranges Tawseef and Sakib displayed good skill and are almost certain to get the selectors nod for the forthcoming Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament.
The Tournament is being organized by the Physical Education Department of the College.
