JAMMU, July 25: Anika Gupta, Ananya Kulgod, Vyom Garg, students of Class VI of Heritage School along with their Headmistress, Vandana Jasrotia recently savoured a true taste of British Boarding at the 452 years old Felsted School, Essex England.
Queen Elizabeth II, the reigning monarch visited the school established in 1564 to mark its 450th anniversary and unveiled plaques and officially opened the newly constructed Follyfield Girls Boarding House where the Headmistress stayed during her term.
Felsted International School has been inviting students across the world since 2012 with the vision of students exchanging ideas and learning together to develop cross-cultural learning. Respect trust, friendship, character, co-curricular skills are built through an intensive programme that fully harnesses the opportunity for students to develop their skills and confidence in becoming Global citizens.
This year, more than 375 students from 30 different nationalities were part of the prestigious program along with the young, dynamic Heritageans.
‘Think Education’ working in partnership with Felsted School opened this golden opportunity for India and was welcomed by Heritage School Jammu.
Ananya was awarded the certificate of the most thoughtful girl and Anika the most helpful. The students have come back brimming with confidence, new international friendships and a global perspective.
