Heritage School organizes programme

JAMMU, July 19: Heritage School organized a moving and insightful event to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, featuring the screening of a powerful documentary on ‘Operation Sindoor’. The film highlighted the bravery, sacrifices and critical role of the military in safeguarding national security and maintaining internal peace.
The event was graced by Major Gurdeep Singh, a proud native of Jammu and alumnus of GGM Science College, currently serving with the 338 Medium Regiment under the 3 Independent Armoured Brigade. Major Singh captivated the audience with real-life experiences and reflections on military life.
Following the screening, he conducted an engaging interactive session, shedding light on the strategic, operational, and humanitarian aspects of Operation Sindoor. His insights deeply inspired the students.
Sunil Gupta, Chairman of Heritage School, felicitated Major Singh with a memento as a token of respect. Students added to the patriotic spirit by performing soulful renditions of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawaan’.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Principal Akash Pradhan, followed by a standing ovation in honour of India’s brave defenders.
