JAMMU, Jan 7: To monitor the performance of coaches, instructors and trainers and conduct surprise checks of coaching centres and stadia individually or collectively, Government has accorded sanction to the constitution of Provincial Monitoring Committees of J&K State Sports Council.
The members for Jammu Province include Ranjeet Kalra, Kuldeep Handoo, Dushyant Sharma and Ram Khajuria, while the Monitoring Committee for Kashmir Province includes NA Khan, BA Shah, Zameer Thakur and Rifat Abdullah as members.
The Committees apart from inspecting records maintained in the coaching centres, can ask for any record from the District Units for their satisfaction, besides interacting with the trainees at various coaching centres to enquire as to whether the trainees are satisfied with the coaching imparted by the Sports Council.
The Committees will unquestionably make coaches and trainers answerable and accountable, besides making the defunct centres functional.
