JAMMU, Sept 11: Four wicket haul by Gora helped Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC), Srinagar to register win over Achievers Cricket Club (ACC) by 3 wickets and win the title trophy of KP Cup Cricket Tournament, being organized by White Cricket Club (WCC), at KC Sports Club ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, ACC scored 93 runs by losing all wickets in 18.1 overs. King Ji and Vishu chipped in 29 and 20 runs respectively.
From RCC Srinagar side, Gora bowled well and scalped 4 wickets in just 2 overs by giving 6 runs, while Jonty and Rohan took one wicket each.
In reply, RCC Srinagar achieved the target in 15.1 overs by losing 7 wickets. Puneet chipped in 23 runs, while Chander and Vicky scored 20 runs each.
From ACC side, Rahul proved his mettle and scalped 4 wickets, while King Ji and Ronak took one wicket apiece.
Gora of RSS Srinagar was adjudged as Man of the match.
The match was officiated by Aman and Sumit as umpires, while King Ji and Rahul maintained the scorecard.
On the valedictory function, Mukesh Sharma, Joint Secretary, BJP Jammu District was the chief guest, who presented the title trophy to the winning team. Ravi Pandita was adjudged as Man of the Series, King Ji as Best Bowler, Vicky as Best Fielder, Vikas as Best Wicket-Keeper, Ravi Pandita as Best Batsman and Praful Dhar as Best Emerging Player. Rohan was awarded on scoring century, Rahul Mussa and Amit for hat-tricks.
