RAJOURI, June 6: Govt Degree College Thannamandi lifted the title trophy of the Cricket tournament by defeating the team of Traders Association, organised by Sabil Construction at Thannamandi, here today.
Batting first, Traders Association scored 95 runs in the stipulated 15 overs, which was easily chased by GDC Thannamandi in 12 overs and won the final match.
Tehsildar Thannamandi, Sahil Ali Shah was the chief guest, while president Press Council Thannamandi, Imran Khan was guest of honour on the occasion.
While speaking on the event, the chief guest stressed upon youth to participate in games and sports as it will keep them physically and mentally fit.
Abdul Ghani Shawl, BJP district secretary, Mushtaq Khan vice president BJP youth wing and members of PRIs were present during the event along with locals.
