SAMBA, Dec 24: The NSS unit of GDC Samba, concluded seven day’s special NSS camp wherein Dr Vishav Raksha, NSS Coordinator, University of Jammu was chief guest of the occasion, today.
Dr Ramesh Chander Principal College also present on the occasion. Dr Sandhya Rani NSS Programme officer organized the camp. The programme begin with various cultural programme. The programme started with Bhajan sung by Bharti and The seven day’s NSS report read by Diksha Jamwal. A poem also presented by Rohini Manhas and Dogri group song sung by volunteers.
Prof Vishav Raksha spoke on “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” and she highlighted the importance of NSS, community service and women empowerment. She also congrats the NSS volunteer Ajay for being selected for Pre RD Camp. The theme of camp was “Swacch Bharat” Dr Ramesh Chander Principal highlighted on women empowerment and girl child as precious gift of god.
Vote of thanks presented by Dr Seema Bhau. Programme Anchored by Pooja Sambyal and Kajal. At last Prize Distribution Ceremony was held in which all the staff members were present.
