JAMMU, Oct 10: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor organized “Mehandi Competition” on the eve of Karwa Chauth.
Twenty five students of different classes participated in the competition and depicted their creative skills by applying traditional and Arabic patterns of Mehandi.
Principal, Dr Asha Gupta, presided over the function.
Vasundra of BA Part-III, Anamika of BA Part-II and Ruhi of BSc Part-I were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners in Mehandi Competition.
Prof Surinder Parihar, Prof M Krishan and Prof Poonam acted as judges to evaluate the performance of the students.
The event was held under the supervision of convener, College Cultural Committee, Prof Raj Kumar Gupta.
