BANDIPORA, Nov 7: The inaugural General Bipin Rawat Memorial Football Premier League, organised by Chinar Corps’s Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo), concluded at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, here today. The tournament, held in honour of India’s first Chief of Defence Staff, aimed to promote sportsmanship, discipline and youth engagement in Kashmir.
Four top teams from Kupwara, Baramulla, Sharifabad and Awantipora participated, showcasing skill and teamwork. In a thrilling final, BISMA FC (HQ 19 INF DIV) defeated DAR FC Kupwara (HQ 28 INF DIV) to claim the championship.
