Srinagar, Dec 11: Three indoor final matches of Karate (55-65 weight category), Table Tennis and Badminton were played at Indoor Stadium Kargil on the 5th consecutive day of Kargil Police Sports Festival today.
A police spokesman said the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Gulzar Hussain was the chief guest on the occasion. In Karate match, Sarfaraz Ali emerged as winner and Khadim Ali runner up, he said.
“In Table Tennis match, Shabina Batool of Government Middle School Latoo emerged as winner and Toyeeba Khatoon of Suru Valley Public School Kargil emerged as runner up and in Badminton match Bintul Huda and Kaneez Fatima of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil were declared as winner and Kharun Nissa and Toyeeba Khatoon of Suru Valley Public School emerged as runner up,” said the spokesman.
Among others, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Kargil, Rahul Malik, Additional SP, Jameel Ahmad, Deputy SP, Mohammad Aslam, District Youth and Sports Officer, prominent personalities and senior citizens and other district officers were also present on the occasion.
