AKHNOOR, Aug 4: The Department of Youth Services & Sports (DYSS), Zone Akhnoor, conducted the Inter-School Zonal Level Selection trials for Under-19 Boys Cricket at GHSS Sohal, under its annual sports calendar for 2025–26.
Around 50 budding cricketers from various Government and private schools participated, showcasing their cricketing talent and passion for the game. The trials were supervised by Ashok Kumar (ZPEO Akhnoor). The selection process was conducted by a panel of departmental experts including Jatinder Singh, Khadim Hussain, Rahul Dev Singh and Suram Singh. Sushma Thakur, Principal of GHSS Sohal, was present as Guest of Honour.
