JAMMU, Mar 8: Drs Kids International School Harsa Dabbar Bishnah celebrated its 7th Annual Day ‘Umang’ amidst great enthusiasm, here today.
A rainbow of colors unfurled on the stage during the event.
Er. Ghulam Ali khatana Member of Rajya Sabha was the chief guest, while Ashwani Sharma, former MLA Bishnah and Dharmendra DDC Member Bishnah were the guests of honour and Narjeet kour Master franchise of Drs Jammu was present as special guest.
The occasion was also graced by the School MD Ajay Sharma and Principal Renu Sharma and all Principals of Drs branches Jammu, parents and students.
The programme commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamps, followed by Saraswati Vandana and cultural programmes were presented by the students of various sections. The students also showcased their talent by performing various cultural items including patriotic.
The show ended with a spectacular dance performance on women empowerment, which mesmerized the audience.
The chief guest, Er Ghulam Ali Khatana in his speech expressed appreciation for the laudable efforts of the Principal Renu Sharma and her team for making this day more valuable.
The vote of thanks was proposed by School coordinator Gurdeep Kour. The program culminated with the singing of the National Anthem.
