JAMMU, Feb 24: Dogra Degree College’s Institutional and Innovation Council (IIC) organized a highly informative workshop on “Effective Sales & Marketing Strategies” for BBA and B.Com students, here today.
The session began with a warm welcome by Monika Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arts and IIC member. Students from the BBA and B.Com programs showcased innovative sales techniques, strategic marketing plans and customer engagement strategies, focusing on industry trends, consumer behavior and digital marketing tools.
The workshop was judged by Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal of Dogra College of Education and Shuchi Sharma, Assistant Professor at Dogra Law College. The first prize was awarded to Sanamdeep, Jhanvi and Harshdeep Singh from the BBA Department for their outstanding presentation.
Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal of Dogra Degree College, praised the students’ excellent work, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in preparing them for real-world business challenges. Rakesh Mohan Koul, HoD of the Department of Management and Commerce, also attended, reinforcing the college’s commitment to enhancing students’ professional skills. The event concluded with a thank-you note by Amarpreet Kaur, Convenor of IIC.
