BHADERWAH, Sept 5: The Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu, in collaboration with Government Degree College Bhaderwah organised a programme on career counseling here in which large number of students from different streams of the college participated.
Dr. Javid Iqbal, Convener IQAC and Head of Department, Botany presided over the function while Muneeb Umer, Assistant Director, Employment, Doda was the Chief Guest Prof. Basharat Iqbal, Head of Department, English presented the welcome address and highlighted career counseling options available before the students studying in the college.
The speakers, in their lectures on career counselling, presented many options to the students for careers in various sectors including careers in civil services and paramilitary forces.
The lectures were followed by effective interaction sessions which remained quiet fruitful for young aspirants. Simra Malik conducted the proceedings of the programme.
