DODA, Aug 31: The District Soft Tennis Championship 2025, held at Indoor Sports Stadium, Doda, culminated with great enthusiasm and participation from across the district. The three-day event witnessed spirited performances, showcasing discipline, skills and sportsmanship among young players.
The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries. Chief Guest, Kamran Wasiq Nehru appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for providing a platform to budding players and emphasized the importance of sports in shaping the youth for a brighter future.
The event was further enriched by the presence of special guests, Masrat Jahan, Senior Lecturer and Rajesh Kotwal (Manager, Indoor Sports Stadium Doda), who applauded the participants for their determination and highlighted the role of sports in youth empowerment and community building.
Medals and certificates were distributed among the winners and participants to recognize and motivate emerging talents. Mohammad Rizwan Wani, Technical Manager, District Soft Tennis Association Doda, conducted the ceremony.
