SRINAGAR, Jan 22: J&K Carrom Association successfully concluded District Shopian Carrom Championship 2024-25 at Indoor Stadium, Batpora under ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative of J&K Sports Council.
In senior men, Amir Khursheed stood first, Suhail Ahmad Bhat, 2nd and Bilal Ahmad Malla, 3rd; in junior boys, Abdul Suhaib Parray stood first, Malik Shayaan Showkat, 2nd and Abdul Rahman, 3rd; in sub-junior boys, Noman Showkat, stood first, Huzaif Mahedeen, 2nd and Aazim Showkat, 3rd; in cadet boys, Musaib Showkat, stood first, Abeel Naik, 2nd and Azan Aslam, 3rd.
In senior women, Bazila stood first, Salma, 2nd and Rahila, 3rd; in junior girls, Faiqa Ashiq stood first, Tabish Maqbool, 2nd and Farheen Mukhtar, 3rd; in sub junior girls, Tabeena Khursheed stood first, Sana Sheeraz, 2nd and Tanzeela Zakir, 3rd; in cadet girls, Anika Aijaz Wani stood first, Alena Mudasir, 2nd and Duha Sajad, 3rd.
The winners and runners-up were felicitated by Gh Rasool Khanday, Manager Indoor Stadium Shopian, Arif Sultan, treasurer J&K Carrom Association and Mudasir Altaf, president District Shopian Carrom Association and other members of the Association.
