District Rajouri to host 29th National Youth Festival 2026

RAJOURI, Oct 25: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Rajouri, announced that it will organize the 29th National Youth Festival 2026 (District Level) at the Indoor Hall, Sports Stadium, Kheora, Rajouri, from October 29 to 30. The festival will bring together young participants aged 15 to 29 years from across the district to celebrate culture, creativity, and innovation.
The first day will feature Group Song and Group Dance performances rooted in folk traditions, strictly excluding film-based content. A poetry writing and composition segment will explore themes such as the Emergency Period in India, constitutional violations, and the importance of safeguarding democracy.
The second day will focus on visual and scientific expression, including a painting competition on themes like “Nasha Mukt Yuva” and Healthy Lifestyle. An exhibition of science and technology will provide a platform for youth to showcase ideas on artificial intelligence, renewable energy, environmental conservation, and digital solutions.
