UDHAMPUR, Jan16: A district level quiz competition was organised in Government Higher Secondary School, Garhi under the guidance of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Udhampur.
A committee was constituted by Chief Education Officer, comprising of Principal of Higher Secondary School, Garhi and Principal of Higher Secondary School, Salmeri to organise the competition at district level.
Rameshber Goswami and Sheetal Sharma of class 12th and 11th , Zone Babey got first position while Ashok Kumar and Suram Chand, both student of class 11th of Zone Ghordi clinched second position and now, both the teams will participate in the state level competition which is scheduled to be held at Jammu on January 20.
Prior to district level competition, a zonal level competition was organised at every zone wherein two students were selected to participate in district level competition.
Lecturer Atul Kashyap and Dr Gopal Krishan conducted the proceedings of the competition while Sunil Sharma, Principal HSS Garhi and Sarita Gupta, Principal HSS Krimchi distributed the prizes among the participants.
