JAMMU, May 24: District Jammu dominated in Under-17 boys and girls basketball competitions, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Agarwal at ma Stadium, here.
Vying for the top honours, 13 districts of the State are participating in boys section and 5 districts in girls section.
In basketball Under-17 girls, Jammu thrashed Samba by (22-06), while in Under-17 boys, Jammu crushed Kulgam by (37-0) and blanked Kishtwar by (20-0).
In other matches of girls section, Srinagar defeated Pulwama by (20-0), Udhampur drubbed Budgam by (18-02), while in boys section, Kupwara trounced Pulwama by (10-02) and Budgam beat Shopian by (10-08) in a close contest.
