JAMMU, Dec 11: Downtown Heroes Football Club (DHFC) qualified for the quarterfinals round with its first maiden win over Assam by 2 goals to 1 in the 13th Badosa Cup at Badosa, Assam, today.
Adeel and Naumaan secured one each goal for Downtown Heroes FC and splendid win over their opponents and qualified for the next level of the tournament.
“It is unbelievable to get a win in our first outside tour. It was a good as well as professional performance,” said head coach after the game.
The win would boost the morale of Downtown Heroes ahead of the clash in quarterfinals, he added.
