JAMMU, Feb 8: TheTerritorial Army Unit under Delta Force based at Dharmund, organized a district level Volleyball Championship at Govt Higher Secondary School Ramban. Various club teams including teams from Police and Army participated during the tournament.
The matches were played on knockout basis and final match was played between Kohitoor Maligam and Neel Club.
In a fiercely contested match, Neel Club defeated Kohitoor Maligam and emerged as champion of the Tournament.
The winners and runner-up teams were felicitated by Commanding Officer, who while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of youth for active participation and displaying tremendous sportsman spirit.
The team captains and the School Principal expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for organizing such sports events which provide a platform to budding and talented players to showcase their Skill.
