DDC flags off Sub Jr Women Hockey team for Nationals

JAMMU, May 15: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu flagged off the 18-member Sub Junior Women Hockey team to participate in the 5th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Hockey Championship to be held at Ranchi in Jharkhand on May 17 and 18, 2015.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, treasurer Hockey India, Jaswant Singh, senior vice president, Dr Taran Singh, Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, Sham Lal Sharma, vice president, Kuldeep Handoo, Tajinder  Singh, Gurmeet Kour, Veena Chib, Jagjeet Singh, Dalbir Mehta, Ravi Raj Singh and GS Bakshi, secretary Hockey J&K.
The team: Ishant Sharma, Mridhu Sharma, Abhilove Kour, Rishika Sharma, Jasmeet Kour, Kamini Devi, Shahida Bhatti, Payal Sharma, Mamta Devi, Sonia Kumari, Bindu, Manisha Dass, Maheeka Maini, Sukhdeep Kour, Suman Kumari, Priyanka Gupta and Maheema Maini.
Mukesh Kumar and Manjeet Singh are accompanying the team as coach and manager respectively.
