JAMMU, Dec 2: DBN Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu, celebrated its Kindergarten & Primary Sports Day with great enthusiasm and participation from students. The event showcased the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork and joy as children from Nursery to Class 2 took part in a variety of fun-filled races and performances.
The programme was graced by former Deputy Mayor Advocate Purnima Sharma, who appreciated the confidence and vibrant energy of the young learners. The event was also attended by Principal Priya Singh, Manager Rajendra Kakkar, Co-Manager Darshan Lal Sharma, Assistant Manager Valvinder Singh, and Headmistress Sunna Syal.
Highlights included the ceremonial Torch Run, colourful opening dance, energetic karate and yoga performances, and a series of lively races such as Balloon Race, Butterfly Race, Lemon Race, Bunny Race, Three-Legged Race, Frog Race, Pack Your Bags and Ball Race.
Medals and certificates were awarded to winners, celebrating every child’s effort. The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks and the national anthem, leaving students, teachers and parents with lasting memories.
