JAMMU, June 10: For all-round development of the children of the various age groups, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages today inaugurated Summer Children Workshops in various disciplines including visual and performing arts at K L Saigal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, here today.
Over 60 children have enrolled in the Workshops of Painting, Dance and Theatre.
V K Sambyal, Director Radio Kashmir Jammu and renowned classical vocal Singer of National repute inaugurated the Workshop by lighting the traditional lamp.
Mr Sambyal who was the chief guest on this occasion interacted with the participants and gave them very important tips in order to groom in the various art forms to develop personality.
Nitish Arora from Radio Kashmir Jammu also shared the presidium as special guest.
Earlier, Dr Sudhir Mahajan, SOCA G-1, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages presented the welcome address.
He said the aim of these workshops is to sensitize children towards themselves and their surroundings through theatre activities.
