JAMMU, Jan 27: The much-awaited annual sports meet, Anant Khel 2025, began with immense enthusiasm at the Central University of Jammu. The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, who flagged off the marathon, marking the start of the three-day sports extravaganza.
Organized by the Directorate of Physical Education, the campus is filled with the energy of sportsmanship as students compete in a wide range of events, including Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Tug of War, Kabaddi, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, 100m, 200m, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, and more.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain expressed his excitement over the enthusiastic participation of the students and praised the Directorate of Physical Education for their careful planning and organization.
Director Prof. Vandana Sharma elaborated on the vision behind Anant Khel. highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship embodied in its name, chosen through a student competition.
