JAMMU, Oct 30: GC CRPF Jammu organized a ‘Motorcycle Rally’ which was flagged by chief guest Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen, DG CRPF as part celebration of ‘National Unity Day’, here today.
In his address, the chief guest informed the audience about the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the former Deputy Prime Minister of India and Home Minister to include 565 Princely States in India.
He also narrated the role and responsibility of CRPF in maintaining security and law and order in the present scenario. He said that today the whole of India realizes the crucial part played by the CRPF, which is a matter of pride for us.
The chief guest appreciated the IG Jammu Sector, DIG GC CRPF Jammu for organizing the grand motorcycle rally wherein 200 participants participated and a distance of 75 kms was covered by them.
Daljit Singh Chawdhary, ADG J&K Zone, PS Ranpise, IG Jammu Sector, Rajiv Kumar, IG (Ops) Dte New Delhi, Amit Kumar Mukhopadhyay, IG (Medical) CH Jammu, Bhanu Pratap Singh IG GC, Jammu and J&K Zone, Jammu Sector HQs, Composite Hospital, Range Office, Group Centre, AWS-IV and B-5/Signal Bn. Officers, Subordinate Officers and Jawans were present during the event.
The program was successfully organized under the leadership of Bhanu Pratap Singh, IG, GC Jammu.
