SAMBA, Aug 6: Samba Police concluded a cricket tournament under the Civic Action Programme, organized in the jurisdiction of Police Sub-Division Vijaypur, here today. The final match was played between Baba Hasal Dev Cricket Club Gurha Slathian and Young Hearts Cricket Club Samba, with Young Hearts Cricket Club winning the title by 63 runs.
A prize distribution ceremony was held after the final, where SSP Samba, along with Addl. SP Samba, SDPO Vijaypur, SDPO Bari Brahmana, DySP Headquarters Samba, DySP DAR Samba, SHO Police Station Vijaypur, SHO PS Bari Brahmana, SHO Police Station Purmandal and other police officers and officials were present.
Trophies, cricket kits and uniforms were distributed to the winning and runner-up teams. Man of the Match and Man of the Series mementos were also presented, along with tokens of appreciation for all final match players and umpires.
