JAMMU, Dec 17: Host team of University of Jammu who won the Chancellor’s Trophy by winning four out of six events handed over Chancellor’s Trophy to Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, here today.
The event was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu from December 10 to 15, 2019 in which host team won four title trophies in men and women hockey, women football and cricket.
In men’s football, JU remained runners-up.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dhar praised the efforts put in by JU Sports Department for successful conduct of the multi sports event.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Dr Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Rajkumar Bakshi and Harinder Singh.
