JAMMU, Feb 22: In the ongoing tournament of Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC), Jammu, Chess Competitions were held at Recreation Complex IISM, here today.
Shashi Jamwal will be taking on RK Sharma in the summit clash tomorrow.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Shashi Jamwal (Survey of India) beat Vishal Gupta (Customs), while in another semifinal, RK Sharma (NSSO) got better of Sanjeev Kumar (Survey of India).
The third place will be decided by the match between Sanjeev Kumar and Vishal Gupta.
The matches were officiated by BS Bhan, NSSO; Ashok Chaddha, AG Office and Deepak Balotra, SoI, while the matches were played under the guidance of Mannu Ji Upadhyay (Executive Engineer CWC), Rajinder Gupta (IIIM) and Sham Lal (CWC).
The matches in Volleyball will be played on February 24, 2016 at IISM High School ground at 2:00 pm.
The organizers have advised the teams to come in proper uniform.
