CGC’s students won ‘Best Performing Team’ award

JAMMU, Feb 23: Six engineering students from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran won the ‘Best Performing Team’ award, at the Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp organised by AICTE and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell.
In the Bootcamp 18 teams pitched their novel ideas at the session while, the camp was attended by over 200 students from across India.
CGC’s team of Shivam, Rohit, Piyush of B.Tech, ME, 4thSem, Ananayaa, Aditi of B.Tech, ECE, 4thSem, and Vivek of B.Tech AI & Data Science, 2nd Sem, won the honour for their idea pertaining to a bore well rescue robot and the crucial role it could play in saving lives.
It is worth mentioning that these students had also represented CGC Landran in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023, Hardware edition at nodal center Coimbatore Innovation and Business Incubator, Tamil Nadu.
The students expressed their elation at winning the award and said that their experience at the Bootcamp was transformative and full of new leanings.
They also thanked CGC for providing them the opportunity to be a part of this unique platform and appreciated the Ministry of Education and the AICTE for their initiative.
