Calliope School holds Investiture Ceremony

JAMMU, Apr 29: Calliope School Doomi held its Investiture Ceremony with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises, here.
The programme commenced with lighting of the traditional lamp followed by group song by students and school teacher Mahima.
The newly appointed Council Members were adorned with Badges and Sashes by their respective House In-charges.
The newly appointed Council Members included Sidarth (Head Boy), Rajay (Head Girl), Krishna (Assistant Head Boy), Nancy (Asstt Head Girl), Suparth as Captain) and Kanika as Astt Captain of Loyalty House; Anjali (Captain) and Anamika (Asstt Captain) of Progress House; Ajaydeep (Captain) and Anuradha (Asstt Captain) of Courtesy House; Payal (Captain) and Mayank Sharma (Asstt Captain) of Peace House; Vishal (Captain) and Mehak (Asstt Captain) of Discipline wing; Deeksha (Captain) and Ankush (Asstt Captain) of Communication wing; Inshan (Captain) and Sonia (Asstt Captain) of Sports; Priyanka (Captain) and Arti (Asstt Captain) of Cultural wing.
The newly selected Students Council members also took an oath to work with sincerity and conviction abiding by all rules and regulations of the school and to uphold the moral values and ethics of the school.
In her address, School Administrator Kiran Raina asked the Council Members to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.
She advised children to become good human beings with high moral values and positive attitude in their life and to focus on their mission which can only be attained with a clear vision.
School Coordinator Priya Kohli conducted the proceedings of the programme.
The programme was coordinated by Chandan and Suman Lata, while Bindu Banotra was event In-charge.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Kiran Raina, while the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
