JAMMU, May 15: Outplaying Ashoka High School by 5-6 goals via tie-breaker in the semifinals, BSF School Paloura stormed in the finals of the ongoing District Level Inter-School competition in the discipline of Under-17 boys football at GGM Science College football ground, here.
Lakshik scored- 2 goals, while Prabal, Vinay Prajval and Nishant netted one goal each for BSF Paloura. Kushant, Rajan, Manveer, Mohit and Abhishek scored 1 goal each for Ashoka High School.
Earlier, in quarterfinal matches, Ashoka High School beat Heritage School by 1-0 goals, with Mohit of Ashoka High School pelting one goal; BSF Paloura beat MHAC Nagbani by 2-0 goals
Lakshik of MHAC Nagbani scored 2 goals; KC International lost against their rivals by (4-0) and in another quarterfinal, DPS registered a solitary goal win over JP World School, with Arjun Gupta a scorer.
The match were officiated by Ajay Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Rohit, Varinder, Gurbachan Singh, Amolak Singh, Mahadev, Jyoti and Ravinder Singh under the supervision of Rakesh Kakkar.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of Annual Calendar of sports activities under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Agarwal, under the Chairmanship of Rishi Kumar, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu and under the overall supervision of Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu.
