JAMMU, Aug 5: The Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS) held a function here today in school premises to elect its ‘Prefect Council’ for the session 2023-24.
The objective of the event was to espouse the confidence, development of leadership qualities and sense of responsibility among the students. Aparana Kohli, Principal of the school, senior and junior Coordinators and parents of ‘Prefect Council’ members were escorted into the Hall by House Captains. The ceremony began with a musical rendition of lighting of the lamp.
Thereafter, introduced the council members as Head Boy, Vardaan Kohli, Head Girl, Jasleen Kour, Discipline Captain, Harshit, Deputy Discipline Captain, Japjot Singh, Sports Captain, Soha, Deputy Sports Captain, Aitsham. House Captains were Legacy House Mitali, Spirit House Samia, Ambition House Ayesha and Discovery House Sania.
While, the perfect council took the oath and pledged to accept and uphold the responsibilities and duties mentioned in the charter. Principal, Aparana Kohli in her speech appreciated the office bearers and encouraged them to shoulder their duties with loyalty and truth.
