Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti holds 18th Sanskriti Mahtosav, Ganit-Vigyan Mela

JAMMU, Oct 13: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K organised its 18th Sanskriti Mahtosav & Ganit-Vigyan Mela at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Amphalla, which concluded here today.
The programme was inaugurated by Ved Bhushan Sharma, President Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K in the august presence of Ram Lal Sharma, Patron BSS J&K; Harsh Kumar Ji, Vidya Bharti Uttar Kshetar; Pradip Kumar, Sangthan Mantri BSS J&K; Satish Mittal, treasurer BSS J&K; Dr Naresh Sharma, Academic Council Head; Pradeep Tripathi, Prant Narikshak; Pradeep Singh, Prant Sanjyojak; Samir Krishan Sapru, Office Secretary BSS J&K; Dr Indu Bhushan Ji; Kanshi Nath Raina, Prant Sanjoyak Vedic Ganit; Naresh Singh, Principal BVM Reasi; Reena Rajput, Principal BVM Amphalla; Usha Shamindra, retired Assistant Commissioner KV Sanghthan; Sudershan Kumari, retired Principal and all Prant Samiti members.
Earlier, Samir Krishan Sapru presented the welcome address.
230 students (Bal Vagyanicks) of 17 Vidya Mandir Schools participated in the programme under the guidance of 20 science teachers.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti for organizing such events in the state and specially lauded the efforts of students which had come from Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah Udhampur, Reasi and Billawar.
Science Quiz, Sanskriti Gyan Quiz, Vedic Ganit Quiz, Paper Reading contests were held in Junior, Sub Junior and Senior categories .
Valedictory function cum prize distribution function was held at Bhau Rao Devras Auditorium, here.
Member Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest on the occasion, while Harsh Kumar Ji Kshetria Sanjyoak Parshikshan Vidya Bharti was the main speaker and Rajesh Gupta, former MLA presided over the programme.
The senior team of scientists, Dr Sumeet Gairola, Dr Prashant Misra, Sanjay Sharma from CSIR IIIM Jammu under the patronage of Dr Ram Vishawkarma Ji Director IIIM Jammu.
Rakesh Raina, AGM RBI, Piaray Lal Pandita, Ex Manager PNB, Sudershan Kumari, retired Principal and Usha Shamindra, retired AC KV Sangathan were the judges of programme.
Former MLA and President, School Advisory Committee Rajesh Gupta presented the vote of thanks.
The programme ended with distribution of prizes to Bal Vaigyanicks and recital of Vande Matram.
