BCC, Green Shine register wins in Gufran T20

DODA, May 30: BCC Assessi and Green Shine Doda trounced Gold Star Dudhote and Doda Warriors respectively in the ongoing All India 9th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between BCC Assessi and Gold Star Dudhote. Batting first after winning the toss, BCC Assessi scored 109 runs by losing one wicket in stipulated 20 overs. Imran scored 46 runs, while Tahir contributed 22 runs to the total team.
In reply, Gold Star managed to score 82 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, thus lost the match by 27 runs. Babar was the highest scorer with 25 runs, while Gazi contributed 10 runs. From BCC Assessi, Tahir took 4 wickets, while Mudassir claimed 2 wickets. Tahir of BCC Assessi was declared as man of the match for his best all round performance.
The second match was played between Green Shine Doda and Doda Warriros. Batting first, Doda Warriors scored a modest total of 101 runs by losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Sonu Manhas was the top scorer with 26 runs, while Sanjeev contributed 20 runs. From Green Shine Doda, Karan and Rajesh shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Green Shine Doda, managed to chase down the target of 102 runs in 8.4 overs by losing one wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Raman Dhiman was the highest scorer who scored 74 runs, while Jamal Din made 23 runs for his team. From Doda Warriros, Pramod took 1 wicket. Raman Dhiman of Green Shine Doda was declared as man of the match for his superb batting performance who was presented cash prize and trophy by Patron YSCC Doda Manzoor Ahmed Batt.
The match was officiated by Ranji Trophy Umpires Sanjay Singh and Ifroz Rather, while Shahid Bashir Pampori acted as scorer.
