JAMMU, Jan 23: Banyan International School Jammu organized an Inter-School ‘Art Competition’, her today.
A total of 16 schools with 96 students participated in the event, wherein the students were divided in 3 categories with Group A consisting of Classes 3rd to 5th, Group B with classes 6th to 8th and Group C consisting of class 9th and 10th. The themes were extremely topical and relevant to today’s scenario, which included Global Warming, Nature-The Best Teacher and The Missing Girl Child.
The teachers also participated with great gusto at the event as Banyan International School organized a series of separate events especially for them. A detailed presentation was shared on ‘frescos’ while they also participated in Art-Quiz .
The chief guests on the occasion were Ankush Kesar and Rohit Verma, who shared their valuable experience with the audience.
The winners in the various categories were Isha Soni of APS Jammu Cantt, Insiya Verma of Heritage School and Shaurya Gupta of KC Public School and Consolation prizes went to Dupinder of Air Force School Jammu from Group A, while from Group B, Anupam Sasal, Raman Kishore and Tahira bagged first three places respectively and the Consolation prizes went to Asit.
Antara Kaur of SOS Herman, Madhuri Kumari of APS Nagrota and Abishek Sharma of APS Nagrota claimed first three places in Group C, while the Consolation prize went to Anamika of Banyan International School.
