JAMMU, Sept 4: Bag Hussain, a student of GLDM College Hiranagar bagged silver medal in the 12th GFI National Grappling Championship 2019, being organised by Grappling Federation of India at MD University, Rohtak, Haryana from September 1, 2019.
The athlete won the 3rd position in National Grappling Championship 2019 in the age group under-19 youth and weight group 62 Kg.
The Principal GLDM Degree College Prof (Dr) Tilak Raj Sharma, Prof Daya Vilas, Dr Purflit Bambroo (convenor IQAC), Prof Ajay Sharma (Convenor Sports), Prof Vikram Singh (Physical Director) and other staff members wished him success in future.
Bag Hussain expressed his gratitude to the Principal and Physical Director for supporting and guiding him to participate in the Championship.
