SAMBA, Sept 7: Arvind Ghosh Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur, will take on Government Higher Secondary School, Ramgarh, in the finals of the ongoing under 19 District Level Inter School Volleyball tournament.
Earlier, in the first semis, Arvind Ghosh Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur, defeated Government Higher Secondary School, Sumb, whereas, in the second semifinal, Government Higher Secondary School, Ramgarh, trounced Arch Rival Higher Secondary School, Ghagwal.
The matches were officiated by Sanjeev Singh, Raghubir Singh, Rajinder Singh, Sudershan Kumar, Purba Chander, Kulbir Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Dhanraj Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Raj Kumar, Jyoti Jamwal, Roopa Sambyal, Sushma Sambyal and Rekha Sambyal. The record was maintained by Vijay Singh, Deep Kumar, Ganesh Dass and Zorawar Singh.
The matches were witnessed by Sukhdev Singh, Mohan Singh, Manjeet Kaur, ZPEOs and sports lovers.
The tournament is being conducted under the overall supervision of Jarpal Singh, DYSSO Samba. In the championship, a total of 18 teams drawn from the different schools of the district are participating.
