RAMBAN, Apr 19: To encourage sports amongst local youths, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Delta Force in collaboration with Maitra Dangal Committee, organized a mega dangal event at Ramleela ground, Maitra, Ramban in which more than 100 wrestlers from various States participated with full vigour and enthusiasm.
Commander Rashtriya Rifles Sector of Chanderkot, MLA Neelam Langeh, and SSP Ramban graced the occasion.
People in thousands witnessed the event.
Commander Rashtriya Rifles Sector and the MLA Neelam Langeh while addressing the locals stressed on the important role of youth in society and urged them to refrain from drugs and indulge in healthy activities.
They complimented the organizers and participants for making the event a success.
The Dangal Maitra committee expressed their deep gratitude and applauded the effort of Indian Army in providing full support and assistance in organizing such mega event.
