JAMMU, Nov 6: Army Public School Nagrota hosted its Annual Sports Day 2025 with immense enthusiasm and spirit. The event was honoured by the presence of Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, General Officer Commanding, 16 Corps, who was the chief guest for the day.
The celebration began with the lighting of the cauldron, followed by the oath-taking ceremony and an impressive march past by all school houses and NCC cadets. A soulful Ganesh Vandana set an auspicious tone and Principal Ruchi Bahl presented the Annual Report, showcasing the school’s achievements.
Exciting events like track races, relay races, tug-of-war and cultural dances captivated the audience. The chief guest also inaugurated the new Multi-Purpose Hall and Badminton Court. The day concluded with the release of balloons, a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Avinash Gupta and the National Anthem, marking a successful and vibrant celebration.
