Amaad, Chakshu, Malik emerge winner in debate competition

KISHTWAR, Mar 23: Amaad Gagroo, a class 11th student of Islamiya Faridia Higher Secondary School, Chakshu Sharma, a class 11th student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School and Malik Irtiza, a class 12th student of Government Boys Higher Secondary School emerged winners in the debate competition on the topic “Should Un-prohibited Internet Access be Allowed to Students” by Police at Government Boys Higher Secondary School auditorium.
On the occasion, Superintendent of Police (SP), Kulbir Singh, was the chief guest, who awarded the winners in presence of DySP, Headquarters Farooq Qaiser, police officials and faculty members of the participating schools.
While speaking, SP encouraged the participants to participate in more such incidents, so as to increase their knowledge.
In the seminar, 12 contestants from various schools spoke for and against the topic.
During the competition, Dr Zahoor Ahmed, Asstt Prof, Kishtwar Campus, universaity of jammu, Neelima Soni, Principal, Kendriya Vidhalaya Kishtwar and Shafaat Ahmed Najar, DySP (Prob) were the jury members, who adjudged the performance of the students.
The stage was managed by Syed Majeed Mosavi, DySP (Prob).
