JAMMU, Oct 17: Magnificent inning of 138 runs and haul of 3 wickets by Aditya Abrol guided TCA Blue to register win over TCA Red by 5 wickets in the ongoing Trikuta Cricket Academy (TCA) Friendly 40 Overs Series, being played at Railway Ground, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, TCA Red scored 248 runs for the loss of all the wickets in 39.3 overs. Laith scored 34 runs, while Vasu chipped in 32 runs, Jahanvir made 26 runs and Manit scored 20 runs.
From TCA Blue, Tejvansh and Aditya Abrol scalped 3 wickets each, while Amit, Shavak, Anish and Paras took 1 wicket apiece.
In reply, TCA Blue chased the target in 28.3 overs. Aditya Abrol played a splendid inning of 138 runs, while Sarvan scored 43 runs, Dhruv made 14 runs and Utkarsh chipped in 12 runs.
From TCA Red, Manit and Laith took 1 wicket each.
The match was officiated by Ayush Kumar and Siddharth.
The series is being conducted for the overall development of the players of the Academy and Jammu.
The tournament is being organized by Balbir Singh under the supervision of Sukomal Ganguly Chief Coach TCA.
