JAMMU, Apr 15. Chandeep Singh Sudan, ace para athlete from Jammu shared his life experiences and struggle at the Central University of Jammu, here today.
He shared his enriched experience of setting two world records and winning two gold medals in 4th Asian Para Open Taekwondo Championship, representing India.
He advised the students not to lose hope under any consequences and suggested to have strong will power.
He was speaking at an interactive session organised by Equal Opportunity Cell of Central University of Jammu. He advised the youth to use the technology for their own benefits, so that one can contribute to the nation.
Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the session with his encouraging words.
He said that prestige and recognition can not be achieved through entitlements, one has to earn these things.
He praised the struggle and positive attitude of Chandeep Singh, who had lost both his hands at the age of 11 but still he writes with his feet and earned fame globally in Skating and Taekwondo.
Earlier, Prof Govind Singh, Anti Discrimination Officer of the University presented welcome address.
The event started with screening of Documentary on the journey of Chandeep Singh Sudan.
Dr Shaveta Kohli conducted the event and Dr JN Baliya presented vote of thanks.
Chandeep Singh urged the young audience for setting goals for themselves and work hard with full consistency.
He also answered the queries of the audience enthusiastically.
