SRINAGAR, Apr 30: Abhijit Vishnu Bhalerao from Nasik, Maharashtra, was flagged off today from Srinagar’s historic Lal Chowk for his solo Kashmir to Kanyakumari ultra-marathon. Covering 3450 km, the run symbolizes unity, endurance and the spirit of adventure.
The event was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering and Adventure Club (JKMAC), with President Sajad Ahmad leading the flag-off. Prominent personalities from Kashmir’s adventure community-Yasir Makdoomi, Riyaz Wani, Mehraj Madni, Nazir Ahmad, Majid Gul and Dr. Raiz Sofi-were present to support and encourage Abhijit.
