Confident KCSC smashes star-studded Kishan Chand CC to register berth in semis

JAMMU, Sept 6: Confident KC Sports Club (KCSC) smashed star-studded Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) in the first quarterfinal by a close margin of 3 runs and registered berth in the semis of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup, being played at KC Public School, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KCSC made 111 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Vijay Dogra was the top scorer with 32 runs, while Ateev Saini and Atul Choudhary added 27 and 15 runs to the total.
For KCCC side, Ram Dayal was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 3 wickets.
In the second inning, the players of KCCC strived hard to win the match, but failed and bunled out at 108 runs by losing 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Sahil Lotra, Ram Dayal and Raman scored 24, 19 and 14 runs respectively. Raman Thaploo also displayed magnificent batting skills and chipped in 14 runs in one over.
From KCSC side, Vijay Dogra was the pick-of-the-bowler with 3 wickets, while Vishal Rana scalped 2 wickets.
