BILLAWAR, Sept 29: The Districts of Ganderbal, Budgam, Jammu and Udhampur scripted convincing victories in the ongoing State Level Inter-District Under-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at Billawar, today.
The Tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Jehangir Mir and in the supervision of Sunil Kumar, DYSSO Kathua.
Over 300 players drawn from 19 Districts of the State are taking part in the Tournament.
Earlier, Ganderbal defeated Kulgam by a margin of 68 runs, with Sajan and Altaf scoring 20 runs each, while Budgam defeated Kupwara by 6 wickets.
In other matches, Udhampur thrashed Ramban by 42 runs, Jammu got better of Doda by 15 runs and Udhampur drubbed Kathua by 8 wickets.
